Valley station 12er Kogel

In 2019, the new 12-seater express lift was built on the Zwölferkogel in Hinterglemm. We built an attractive and comfortable new valley station, which is also well-equipped for the upcoming 2025 Ski World Championships and other major events. The necessary infrastructure, such as the meeting room and timing room, is in place, and reporter booths can be installed on the roof without much effort.

The valley station impresses not only with its functionality but also with its form. The curved floor plan allows the building to blend gently into the landscape.

The facade consists of bush-hammered concrete and profiled wooden slats. These local materials allow the character of the limestone Alps and the forests to be incorporated into the building.

The wooden slats with different profiles are mounted at different intervals, creating interesting light and shadow situations. This design element also creates a dynamic facade and further allows for exciting views through the building.
