The beauty of the Fladnitzau, the vineyard, and the historic buildings are providing inspiration for the redesign of the town center of Furth bei Göttweig. New buildings and existing extensions follow the town's established structure. Three squares are being created around the church. This open space links the individual buildings within the planning area and connects with the neighboring districts. Variously designed "access gates" mark the entrances to the area. The irregular squares are bordered by facades on all sides. Views, offsets, greenery, and paved areas, or dialogues between "old and new," characterize the public space.
